

July 7 – George Pentz and Rich Morrow mowed the property and Tim Fichtner and Steve Steffel worked on the Farm House. Brent Heller had also been up to continue re-wiring the house to make the wiring safe. George and Rich are amazing, mowing 17-20 acres every week so that we have nice grass for camping.




July 10-19 – Steve Steffel, Greg Scott travel to Camporama with 3 activities. Darryl Eberly and Chris Vincent work on the Regional staff. PennDel wins a number of awards.



July 22 – Tim Fichtner and Steve Steffel work on finish framing upstairs and main floor walls and floor for the farm house room.



July 27 – Tim Fichtner and Steve Steffel go to camp to prepare if for JLDA. Tim builds an initial railing on the new steps to the basement. The mini-splits and other items were delivered to camp and camp organized and cleaned up.
July 30 — Tim Fichtner and Steve Steffel go to camp to further clean up and prepare it for JLDA.
Aug 3-8 – Junior Leadership Development Academy
Aug 11 –Steve Steffel moves out a sink and stove from the farm house basement, mounts another Mini split bracket on the barn, works on sinks in the shower house, works on pumping the septic tanks and fixing the lid handles.




Aug 14 & 18, 2026 – Rich Morrow, Wyatt Heller, Cord Hetrick and Jonathan Wickard begin excavation for the Blacksmith pole building. Wyatt, Cord and Jonathan are young men who have earned the Gold Medal of Achievement and have become great servant leaders.

Aug 15 – Ranger Foundations Training – 5 Students and Nathan Buckman, Darryl Eberly and Joe Hoban teaching.


Aug 18 – -Tim Fichtner and Steve Steffel take out and put in new windows to allow a mini-split air conditioner above the kitchen sink. We also meet with an excavator to get a quote on installing the septic field and creating the Shooting Sports and Parking area across the street.
Aug 22 — Ranger Essentials training was conducted at Kinport Assembly of God, Cherry Tree, PA with Rob McCoy, Richard Craft and Jason Loffredo serving as instructors with 9 graduates. (No pictures).




Aug 25 – Rich Morrow, Cord Hetrick and Jonathan Wickard continues work on the footer for the Blacksmith Shop, and Steve Steffel fixes leaks under 11 sinks, several pipe leaks repaired and 2 dehumidifiers are installed in the basement of the farm house – this was the kitchen in the farm house over 200 years ago and it was fed by a natural spring – – that is not so helpful today.
Sep 1 – George Pentz and family work on Ranger Kid area, Ron Adlesic, Tim Fichtner and Steve Steffel work on mini-splits and shower house fixtures


Sep 4 – Jeremy and Tuwa Shuey complete the painting of the lower pole barn, started during the Junior Leadership Development Academy. The building will be called the Geesaman Garage and dedicated at Adventure Weekend


Sep 8 – Ron Adlesic, Tim Fichtner and Steve Steffel work on mini-splits, the shower house and hung the “Geesaman Garage” sign on the lower pole bar. George Pentz and Rich Morrow mow the property and then Rich Morrow, Cord Hetrick and Jonathan Wickard work on putting stone in the trench for the blacksmith shop.
