Camp Berry Work Day

May 16, 2026 WORK DAY – need all hands on deck  arrive ~ 8-8:30, we will provide lunch (or come on a day when you can and check with Steve what needs to be done)

• Shower House – final details
  • Adjust 5 motion sensors – #4 bathroom stays on sometimes or comes back on, Handicap, Storage and Mechanical room – – adjust to turn off after 5 minutes (handicap ~ 10 minutes)
  • Rake and seed around septic tanks and shower house.  Clean a little space around the septic tank lids.
  • Clean up concrete on sidewalks with grinder & touch up exterior block with mortar as needed (Steve can provide grinder and mortar mix)
  • Make rubber roofing more secure over 5,000 gallon water tank, trim thorny plants and saplings
• Maintenance
  • Spray weed area (front entrance and other areas)
  • Weed wack where necessary and especially around district trailer by lower pole barn, where the black smith shop will go
  • Trim around water tank, brick and block area, etc.  Steve to provide power snips to cut thorny plants, saplings, etc.
  • Plan shelves in shed for gasoline equipment, move down if ready, look at push mowers and get rid of ones that are not worth keeping
  • Go Karts, work kart
  • Grease tractors as needed, batwing mower
  • Zip Line – tighten a bit to raise line for better clearance above back of pageant area  (Steve can provide guidance)
  • Check private property signs to make sure they are in properly
